Hundreds of civilians are killed by their own government

The country of Syria has recently murdered over 100 civilians due to a civil war in the country. Syria has been on the verge of exile for the past century. Multiple accounts of gunfire, bombs, and possible chemical weapons use have been reported by UN officials. The United States and President Obama are contemplating whether or not to take military action. The UN mandate is a conflicting with the Obama federation to intervene in the case that it is actually the government of Syria pursuing these mass murders.

The United States seem to act as the world police. I am not really sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing. It seems to be both in many cases. This is not the first time, the second time, or even the fiftieth time that the U.S. has had to step into another countries conflicts. Bolivia for example when gorilla warfare between the government and terrorist groups killed hundreds of civilians. Another example could even be Germany in WWII for attempting to exile an entire type of human race. Not only do I think the U.S. should step in but I also think that more countries in the UN should intervene.
