Recently Russia's president, Vladimir Putin, has made remarks concerning American involvement in Syria. He stated that the Americans should not call ourselves exceptional. Stating that "God created us equal and at the end of the day to remember that."
Something that caught my attention while I was reading over the Putin/Obama conversation was the for the past 30 years Russia has provided the Assad regimen with weapons. How can we be confident that Russia did not provide Syria with the weapons necessary for chemical warfare?
I feel like it is a possibility that this is the case, maybe the chances are that Russia had nothing to do with it, but Russia is known to do things differently. Russia invaded Georgia without UN say so. Putin's comment concerning that God created us equal inflicts with their strict homosexual laws in the country. Putin seems to have something up his sleeve at all times and the US should be concerned about intervening without UN approval.
