Is this the dawn of a new age for Iran?

The non-communication gap between Iran and the United States that has lasted longer than 40 years has been broken! The Islamic Republic of Iran has recently elected a new President named Hassan Rouhani. President Obama confirmed that Rouhani has recently indicated that Iran will never develop nuclear weapons. This is a major step in the right direction for the commonwealth of the Middle East and also the world as a whole.
Hassan Rouhani
The Iranian government is opening up their internet access as well as adding a new president. Hassan Rouhani; to the contrary of how Iran's previous strict internet laws would keep citizens off of social media, would post daily on Twitter. This doesn't sound like much, but it is a completely different type of leader than what Iran has ever seen.

Rouhani is more interested in global peace rather than an Islamic uprising. This is proven through the relations he has already established throughout the world of politics. Initiating a conversation for the first time since 1979 with the United States, which is the leading ally with Israel. If you didn't pay attention in your history classes during high school or college then you probably wouldn't know that Iran and Israel are the two biggest enemies to exist on this planet. The two countries have theoretically been at war for over 2,000 years. Having a friendly conversation with your enemies number one ally which is hands down the most powerful country in the world is making a statement. Especially when that conversations subject is
disarming your own nuclear weapons (which is the only logical defense against the United States).
