The government shutdown continues, Obama speaks out

Today, President Obama spoke out about the cause of the government shutdown. Before I write this post, I want to make a side note and say this is the most involved I have ever seen Obama in a speech. Most of his speeches you could tell were scripted. Barack seems to be a great narrator at times. In fact, thats how I feel about most of the speeches he gives. He reads from a script that is in front of his face and basically makes that script sound like an entrance to an apocalypse movie. It isn't just Obama though. Most, not all, but most of the former presidents have followed a similar narrative speech style.

Todays speech stood out to me compared to the rest of his speeches I have watched. He wasn't campaigning, he wasn't in debate, he was just motivated by saving the future of America. The way he spoke into the microphone made me sense an actual emotion from the president.

If all fails, at least our president tried.

There is one object that caused the shutdown. Money is that object. The conservatives in the house are wanting just that. Radical conservatives seem to be pushing the GOP even more, but the funny thing about this is that the only thing that truly seems to be holding radical conservatives back is BUDGET CUTS! Spending cuts is another blog post itself so I will spare you the time and talk a little about what goes in the wallets of congress men and women. Conservatives are standing still on the budget cuts, which would end the government shutdown. Even during this shutdown congress is still getting paid. Time is essential to the economic recovery that the United States will be challenged with. Most positions held in either the house or senate are being done so to fulfill Americans wants and needs. Congress is supposed to be leading 314 million people instead of worrying about their extra spending money made while delegating.
I am not attempting to blame specific people, but the way the situation is being handled is conceited. The moderates on both sides seem to be attempting to craft their ways out of the hole that congress has dug itself.

I believe the real question that congress should ask themselves is why? Why is the government failing? Why can't pay-cuts be taken as an opportunity to better the government? Why can't budgets be planned out according to the costs? I have one simple answer to all of these questions. The most suitable Americans for these positions are not in them. I believe it is time for a new political movement to take back full control of the financial state of the government, and to politely impeach some of the current offices being held.
